It crops up in all kinds of odd places and it had never occurred to me that it might be because it was sold as part of a package deal with Stella or whatever. I don't know who I thought was brewing it! I had half an idea it was still being made in the 70s and distributed by TARDIS.

I remember having a very satisfying pint of it at a country pub in Dorset after slogging for hours up the coast.Baileyhttp://boakandbailey.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12501248.post-36341729866341523792009-12-10T13:35:28.911+00:002009-12-10T13:35:28.911+00:00Interesting. I cannot understand why they continue to brew it as any local following has long gone.Sat In A Pubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08123038980796000837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12501248.post-66388353653666461682009-12-10T10:56:11.470+00:002009-12-10T10:56:11.470+00:00I was in Stratford-on-Avon for work last year and ...I was in Stratford-on-Avon for work last year and a few people told me to look out for Flowers ale. Apparently they were the local family who owned the brewery, but also did a lot of charitable things like run the local theatre etc. Couldn't find it anywhere at that time unfortunately!
ScothbheoirAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12501248.post-17017150778347683172009-12-10T09:33:03.174+00:002009-12-10T09:33:03.174+00:00Yeah, the picture of Bill was smaller, but that...Yeah, the picture of Bill was smaller, but that's the one.The Beer Nuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14105708522526153528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12501248.post-6777249846681222612009-12-10T09:25:25.682+00:002009-12-10T09:25:25.682+00:00Sorry, a proper link might help you Flowers?Sorry, a proper link might help you Flowers?Mark, Real-Ale-Reviews.comhttp://real-ale-reviews.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12501248.post-31943249512374432582009-12-10T09:23:48.412+00:002009-12-10T09:23:48.412+00:00Flowers?
