You don't need to be on one of the buses to visit the breweries: they're all having open days, so once you know they're open when you want to visit, you can drop in. You do need to book in advance for the organised bus tours, and they tend to sell out in advance. Information on routes and tickets will be at https://www.horal.be/toer-de-geuze-2022 assuming that arrangements will be the same this year.

I hope that answers your question! The Beer Nuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14105708522526153528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12501248.post-2612098095425018902022-03-01T10:06:38.055+00:002022-03-01T10:06:38.055+00:00Hello, just asking a question about the toer: do y...Hello, just asking a question about the toer: do you have to pre book bus tickets for te tour, or can you just turn up on the day? Basically a village hall disco, with a cheesy Flemish wedding-singer type band[1], grannies in a conga line, the whole shebang. Plus, y'know, a few beers.

[1] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR5cwC6w7moDaveShttp://brewinabedsit.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12501248.post-18646528793926963742017-05-30T22:05:48.999+01:002017-05-30T22:05:48.999+01:00I could have stayed a lot longer in both of those ...I could have stayed a lot longer in both of those too. The queues and the trips back-and-forth for more tokens and the unavailable beers and the fact that everything was a bit pricey meant that we never really relaxed and started enjoying ourselves. Oud Beersel and Boon (we were only out for the Saturday, pottering around by public transport) were a lot more fun.DaveShttp://brewinabedsit.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12501248.post-77847635865873843692017-05-29T10:16:28.454+01:002017-05-29T10:16:28.454+01:00And I doubt it would be the last time. Mine was an almost perfect blend of dark roasty malts, bitter chocolate, sour cherry and lambic funk, and might just edge out the Zwanze and Zwet.be if I could trust that my excitement at the day hasn't coloured my ratings. I really wished that I'd had a glass of it (or an Otterbank) earlier in the day to hand to the guide in Tilquin who was pondering the nature of stout while rhapsodising Rullquin^2.Simonhttps://untappd.com/user/beinmysolonoreply@blogger.com
